Terms of Service
These terms are the deal between you (a business using Blue Collar AI) and Blue Collar AI. They're written to be read, not skimmed past. By creating an account or using the service, you're agreeing to them.
1. What Blue Collar AI is
Blue Collar AI is a managed software service that runs office work for trades businesses: an AI assistant ("Sarah") that answers and handles phone calls, plus scheduling, estimates, invoicing, review requests, and a business website with lead capture. We operate it for you; you stay in charge of your business.
2. Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials safe and your business information accurate. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you believe someone else has gotten into it, tell us right away through the app.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service for lawful business operations only. Don't use it to spam, harass, mislead people, or send messages to people you have no business relationship with. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or put other customers at risk.
4. Calls and text messages
The service answers calls and sends text messages on your behalf — to your customers, and to you. Calls handled by the AI assistant may be recorded and transcribed so the details land in your account. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to contact the people you add to the system, and for following the call and text-message laws that apply to your business and your area (including honoring opt-outs — recipients can reply STOP at any time).
5. Payments
Card payments from your customers are processed by Stripe, including Stripe's identity and payout requirements. We never see or store full card numbers. Stripe's own terms apply to payment processing. You're responsible for the accuracy of the invoices you send, including any applicable taxes.
6. Your data and your customers' data
Your business records — customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, call notes — belong to your business. We process them only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the content you put into the system and for having the right to use it.
7. Websites we host for you
If we generate and host a website for your business, the content comes from information you provide and approve. You confirm you have the rights to that content (names, photos, service descriptions) and that it's truthful. You can ask us to take your site down at any time.
8. Service changes and availability
Blue Collar AI is actively developed — features will be added and improved, and occasionally changed. We work to keep the service available around the clock, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Phone, text, and payment delivery also depend on providers like Twilio, Stripe, and Google.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is." We don't make guarantees about specific business results — how many calls get answered, jobs get booked, or invoices get paid depends on your business and your customers.
10. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Blue Collar AI isn't liable for indirect damages (like lost profits), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Ending service
You can stop using the service at any time. We can end or suspend service for abuse or non-payment, with notice where practical. When service ends, we'll delete or return your business data on request, per the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
